Bulk Chemical Logistics Agent Philippines | DDP Door to Door Service

Chemical cargo does not forgive guesswork. A mis-declared drum, an SDS that does not match the actual formulation, or a missing pre-importation notice can hold your container at the Port of Manila for weeks — while storage fees climb and your production line sits idle. Most forwarders will book the freight and leave the compliance work to you. That is not how we operate.

Sunny Worldwide Logistics has been handling China–Philippines freight since 1998. Over that time we have built our process around one principle: the paperwork has to be right before the container is sealed, not after it arrives.

Why DDP Makes Sense for Chemical Imports into the Philippines

Chemical imports carry two cost layers that shippers consistently underestimate: the customs duty and tax exposure, and the compliance exposure. A DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) arrangement removes both from your plate.

When you book our Manila DDP shipping service, the quotation we give you covers pickup at the factory, export formalities in China, ocean or air freight, Philippine import clearance, all duties and taxes, and final delivery. You are not chasing a BOC assessment after the fact, and you are not negotiating with a broker you have never met. One price, one point of contact, door to door.

How We Handle Chemical Shipments

Step 1 - SDS Review and Cargo Classification

Before we quote, we ask for your Safety Data Sheet. From it we establish whether the substance is listed in the Philippine Inventory of Chemicals and Chemical Substances (PICCS), whether it falls under RA 6969 and DAO 29 as a regulated substance, and therefore whether a Pre-Manufacture Pre-Importation Notification (PMPIN) or a Small Quantity Importation clearance from DENR-EMB is required. PICCS-listed chemicals generally move without pre-import clearance; new substances and new uses do not. Knowing this on day one is what keeps your shipment off the demurrage clock.

Step 2 - Packaging and Consolidation at Origin

Bulk chemicals typically move in 200L drums, IBC totes, ISO tanks or multi-wall bags. We collect from your supplier using our own trucking fleet at the Shenzhen and Guangzhou ports — we do not hand your cargo to a third-party hauler at the factory gate. In our 1,800 square meter facility we verify drum closures, check labelling against the SDS, and consolidate multiple suppliers into one shipment where the cargo is compatible.

Step 3 - Export Documentation and Carrier Booking

We prepare the export declaration, the dangerous goods declaration where applicable, and the carrier booking with the correct UN number, class and packing group. This is the stage where errors become expensive, and it is handled in-house rather than outsourced.

Step 4 - Ocean or Air Transit

For most bulk chemical consignments sea freight is the practical choice — roughly 15 days door to door to Manila, and about 25 days to Cebu or Davao. Where the material is time-sensitive or the volume is small, air freight arrives in 3 to 5 working days.

Step 5 - Philippine Customs Clearance and Delivery

On arrival we clear the shipment with the Bureau of Customs, pay the assessed duties and taxes under the DDP terms, and arrange delivery to your plant or warehouse. Our clearance typically runs 1 to 2 days ahead of the industry average, which matters a great deal on chemical cargo where terminal storage is charged by the day.

Why Shippers Choose Sunny Worldwide Logistics

We own the first mile. Our trucking company operates out of the Shenzhen seaport. When your supplier releases the cargo, our own vehicles move it — there is no relay of subcontractors between the factory and the port.

Two decades of route-specific experience. We have been on this lane since 1998. Philippine chemical import rules have changed repeatedly in that time, and we have absorbed every change rather than discovering it on your shipment.

Scale you can verify. A 1,800 square meter Class A office in Shenzhen, membership in the Worldwide Cargo Alliance, and Top 100 China freight forwarder standing.

We quote options, not a single price. Every inquiry gets at least three routing or consolidation options, and our clients typically save 5% or more against their previous arrangement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you handle hazardous chemicals, or only non-hazardous?

We handle regulated cargo, but acceptance depends on the substance and on the documentation. Send us the SDS and the intended volume first — we will confirm what is required for this specific entry before any booking is made.

Can you ship smaller volumes than a full container?

Yes. We consolidate LCL shipments, which suits importers moving a few pallets of drums at a time. Full container and ISO tank options are available when volume justifies it.

What documents do you need from me to start?

A current Safety Data Sheet, the exact chemical and trade name, the packing type and quantity, the supplier's location in China, and the delivery address in the Philippines. From those six items we can normally return a firm DDP quotation.

Talk to a Chemical Freight Specialist

Chemical logistics is a documentation business before it is a transport business. If your current forwarder treats it as the other way round, it is worth a second opinion.

Contact Sunny Worldwide Logistics with your SDS and shipment details, and we will come back with a clear DDP quotation and the compliance steps your specific cargo requires.
