How to transport fresh goods? What must be said about cold chain logistics!

In recent years, more and more fresh products have been imported into China. Due to the high requirements for logistics transportation, warehousing, and customs clearance time, it is necessary to mention the refrigerated boxes commonly used in international transportation of fresh, frozen, and some special goods. Today, the editor has compiled some common knowledge about refrigerated box transportation for everyone.

Common knowledge of refrigerated box transportation
1. Maintain the temperature of the goods
Lingcang transportation aims to extend the storage life of insured food by reducing the temperature of the surrounding air. The decay caused by metabolism and the spoilage caused by microorganisms or enzymes will be slowed down due to the decrease in temperature.
2. Maintain relative humidity
If the air inside the box is dry, it will affect the appearance of the product and may reduce the quality of the product due to moisture evaporation.
Relative humidity has a significant impact on storage time. Under high relative humidity, extremely humid air can accelerate the growth of mold and bacteria on refrigerated meat slices, leading to faster growth of fungi on vegetables and fruits and causing product spoilage. Fresh vegetables usually require a humidity between 90% and 95%, while root crops require a humidity of 98%. According to the type of fruit, the humidity of fresh fruits should be maintained between 85% and 95%. Refrigerator transportation can maintain relative humidity between 65% -95% through a humidity control system.
3. Ventilation
Many goods, especially fruits and vegetables, require good ventilation when refrigerated. The refrigerated box is equipped with adjustable ventilation devices, and the operator can adjust the ventilation amount according to the air required for the goods or the environmental conditions of the work area. The range of air exchange rate adjustment is 0-200 cubic meters per hour when the container is empty.
Why pre cooling is necessary
Do guarantees the quality of the goods, and immediately pre cools the fruits and vegetables after harvest, which can extend the storage life:
The design of the refrigerated box is only to maintain the temperature of the goods, not to cool them. Insufficient power and freezing space to quickly cool the goods to storage temperature;
3) Vegetables and fruits are living tissues, and pre cooling can reduce cargo respiration
Do not pre cool the refrigerated box, as opening the box after pre cooling will cause a large amount of water droplets to accumulate on the inner surface of the box. Water droplets can damage the labels on the packaging of the goods, and even cause ice to condense on the evaporator tubes due to the heat generated by the breathing of the goods, causing the unit to enter a defrosting state, resulting in a decrease in refrigeration capacity
