DHL Express: US aviation hub strike ends!

At Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), DHL Express experienced a 12-day worker strike. However, this incident has finally taken a turn for the better recently.
According to a statement from the Teamsters Union, 100 local Teamsters have reached a tentative agreement with the union covering 1,100 ramp and tow truck workers at CVG Airport after DHL Express was forced to strike.

The union said the immediate effect of this temporary agreement was to end the unfair labor practice strike that lasted for 12 days. "After DHL Express was forced to strike, our local 100 truck drivers quickly reached a temporary agreement to protect the interests of our members at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG)." The union emphasized.

The tentative agreement was reached after round-the-clock negotiations and covers key aspects such as workplace safety, wage levels and welfare improvements.

The union said it had ensured the tentative agreement met workers' expectations and needs and would continue to consult with the company before a final agreement is submitted to CVG's 100 local members for a ratification vote.

The strike has had a serious impact on the operations of DHL Express, but after a tentative agreement is reached, the company is expected to resume normal operations as soon as possible. At the same time, the labor union will continue to pay attention to the company's performance of the contract to ensure that workers' rights and interests are fully implemented.

The 12-day strike ended with a tentative agreement reached between the union and the company, which also opened up the possibility of negotiation and a win-win future for both parties.
